    Shop Tour

I just published a photo album of my shop / garage renovation that's taken about 9 months.

You have a garage you can fit a full size crew cab pickup in? You lucky bugger!

When you are done with your MIL's garage, mine could use some help... Nice job!

If you can manage and still fit the cars in there -- you're a better man than me. I gave that up a long time ago. We park outside. But it's a pleasure now at our new house. Before we had mud and gravel outside the garage ! A paved driveway is the greatest....lol.

Thanks for sharing the process. It's great to see what others go through. I've had very similar struggles. Finally got a shed built so all the yard stuff is out of the garage and I can put the workshop back together. It's really amazing what we're willing to do to participate in this hobby of ours !!

I have to get the cars in the garage at night, or at least my wife's truck. The rule is that if her truck sleeps outside, so do I.

I am just stunned as all get out that you have a garage that can fit ANY full size pickup in it. My garage was a tight squeeze to get my old standard cab short box Ranger in... Stupid architects don't know what people drive...

My dad is no dummy. When he designed and built the house he measured his 1972 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham and added three feet to the front and back for walking room and enough space on the side to open the doors without hitting the wall.

Dad's was blue, and according to the Minnesota State Highway Patrol, it went at least 143 MPH. I never drove it again.

Yeah, well, the architects that sketched out the plans for my garage must have had a completely different car in mind... Considering 1984 construction I would think...
