    Check out my new shop

Here is my shop currently, you can see the sears bandsaw in the middle and one of my tablesaws next to it. The BT3100 is behind it. All the deals I have got here, now I have to start all over.

      I hope nobody was hurt.

      That's a bummer.

Hope you have insurance and they do right by you. On a positive note, you do get to do some tool shopping. Sometimes you have to' dig deep to find the positive note.

          Very AntiRodKirbyesqe.....

Maybe I missed it, but: 1 is everyone OK?
          2 house attached?
          3 WTH happened?

On a side note, your gonna find out if your underinsured (most can't really afford full coverage), but if they were bargains, and you have replacement value, that can help a little. In a MORE positive note, you get to start over, with idea's of what you liked and disliked about your shop and layout (maybe imbedded dust collection now).

I know several people who have gone through fires, and it does make you appreciate the important things, as this is all just stuff.

Ack. That really sucks. I sure hope you have a list of everything in there plus good insurance coverage.

            Good Luck.

That's so sad, I hope you were insured enough to get a good start on a real new shop.

I thank everyone for their concern. The wife and I and 2 boys are fine, made it out just in time at 3am. Starting the insurance process right now, don't really know mutch, but investigaters are looking. Doesn't look electrical as of yet, so I'm hoping I didn't do anything stupid. Here is a look at the front. All contents in the house are destroyed, by water, heat and smoke, the fire was only in the garage, attic, laundry room, and hallway, but the heat melted almost anthing high in the house. Also it destroyed both cars. All the cealings have collapsed because of the water.

Everyone is OK, and thats what matters. The neighbors have been great donating cloths food and toys for the boys.

Things (except for those memorable artifacts we all have), can be slowly replaced. People can't be.

                              Glad you are all safe.
