    There is lots of discussion about un warping wood online. My take on it that, it is not worth the effort. Thus... my statement to get the wood like you want it by planing or shaping and quickly finish and seal the wood before it’s moisture content changes and activates more movement . Some people don’t bother to seal the bottoms of their tables and cabinets, but that’s 50% of the wood surface that can’t absorb or loose moisture and cause warping. I use a fair amount of shellac for that purpose.
