I've decided after moving several litters of children that there would be on more mdf in my life. Way to heavy, not durable, water solvable, just pure junk. I'd build a cabinet out of .25 plywood, 2x2 frame, paneling or anything before mdf. The only good thing I can say for it is it won't support flame cause I tried to burn a cabinet one litter left for me to dispose. It won't eventually burn.

Agree with the others. This would be a poor application for MDF. A good one for shop grade plywood. MDF is too heavy. Easy to work with other than the dust.Donate to my Tour de Cure

I guess I just never put together using a traditional non-wood spackle for use on a wood project... but then again maybe MDF isn't really a wood project
Thanks for hint, and if I ever use MDF again I'll remember.
Thanks,
