    Camper Interior Redone - Finally

My wife and I got tired (no pun) of the little bed in our 1970 Serro Scotty camper. So I redid the interior and put in a full-sized mattress, new cabinets, new counter and table. Also redid the cushions with real cowhide. Made all the lamps and the clock too. The number/minute indicators are horseshoe nails. We wanted the Southwestern look and I think we accomplished that look. BTW the interior of the camper is 6' X 11' so there's not much to photograph. You can see more cabinets in the mirror on one shot.

Sweet!! Very nicely done! Was pic #4 supposed to be a wolf, eagle and bear?! I can see each animal superimposed, really creative work on that one. Well done

Very cool interior work...takes a lot of planning. A bigger bed...that's great. The lights look more like bandsaw/scrollsaw overlay than intarsia. How did you do them?

Cool project. What is the wood for the clock? Looks like Mesquite.

            That came out great.

So where do you guys go with the camper? I imagine you use it quite a bit to make all the improvements worthwhile.

Incredible! That's squeezing a lot into a little space which fascinates me. How about an exterior shot as well. these are the coolest little campers.

                      Chop, you missed the buffalo!
Lchien, it's not intarsia, Cabinet man is right. Did those on my BS using 1/8" blade.
Pappy, that's a chunk of red oak.

Love it! Bigger toys - bigger bills. I'll dig out a pic I have of our previous boat that we lived on for a year. The picture shows our 44' CSY on one side of a dock in a Daytona marina and one of Nascar's yachts - m/v Hi-Banx - on the other side.

A 44' sailboat is pretty decent size but Hi-Banx was big enough that it blocked my Directv signal.

LOML would trade my boat for your camper in a heartbeat.

Wow, I had to look for a few seconds!! Amazing that you were able to pack all those animals in there :-) Very creative. I bet that large RV behind you is all plastic and fake inside :-P

I've seen ads for the campers/trailers about that size, and they are described to be able to be towed by a compact car or a small sedan.
