    A small bit of woodworking

    Hi everyone!

I've been so busy with son number 1 (28 months) and son number 2 (3 months) that the thought of actually doing woodworking was just too exhausting. Attached are some pictures of the little guys and my super-wonderful, lovely wife, Dorothy.

This weekend I had the immense pleasure of doing the smallest bit of woodworking (sorta) that was most therapeutic. What did I do? Spent several hours sharpening and honing all my chisels using my new Norton Waterstones and Veritas honing guide. Both were a pleasure to work with.

The chisels are shiny, sharp and ready to go.

    Good night all ..

    Greg

Great looking family. May they make you proud.

Nothing like sharp chisels! I have a WorkSharp and it does a good job of keeping mine sharp.

Protect that first picture. Great blackmail photo when he starts dating!

What more could a guy ask for:

            Sharp chisels

            Beautiful family.

            Cute little stuffed doggie.

Note: The above order is not in progression of importance, but for an ascending graphic layout. IOW, IMO, it seems to lay out better lined up like that.

Post that first picture in your shop beside your assembly table, Greg. When you do an edge for glue-up, look at it and think baby-butt smooth and you will discover you will have fewer visible glue lines.

Congratulations on the great looking family...

Lovely family... If you do have the time, looks like Baby projects might be in order... But I seriously doubt you have the time.

Nice pics of a good looking family. It won't be long before you'll have to begin teaching them how to use the chisels.

That as good a way as any to keep the woodworking fire going.

                    Nice looking family, BTW.
