I gave LOML a nice Cherry jewelry chest, sort of a mini armoire, with fold out wings for necklaces and stuff. The wings on this chest have pretty rose patterns etched in fairly small glass panels. (Approx 3" wide x 10" long). One of the panels has broken, and I am trying to find a suitable replacement. I can get the glass panels, but they are simply plain ones. I seem to recall some sort of kit way back when, that would allow you to print out a vector art design from programs like Corel Draw or whatever, and create a, well stencil I guess. For a DIY acid etching.
Does anyone here know...
A. What I am talking about. And...
B. Where to get the stuff, and instruction on how to do it?
I would LOVE to fix and upgrade this for LOML for Christmas this year... Maybe use some Liquid Leaf for highlighting of the petals or something...
