Were to find adhesive backed sandpaper?

I am looking for adhesive backed sandpaper to attach to the fence of my crosscut sled. I cannot find it on the Rockler or Woodcraft websites. Any leads?

    Thanks,
    Scott

Sandpaper + adhesive = adhesive backed sandpaper! Sorry, I thought Rockler used to have such a product, but it should be easy enough to do it yourself. If you want a more "permanent" solution, use CA glue, if temp, then use something like 3M's Spray Mount, which is commonly used for scroll work (well, that's MY common use for it). Just spray the back of the paper, wait a few seconds, and it's ready to stick.

My local hardware store has it, it's a quarter sheet and is made for pad sanders. comes if various grits. I have purchased it by mistake several times.

          WARNING!

I have done this many times (only once unsuccessfully).

I use Titebond II - Do NOT apply the glue to the sandpaper - apply the glue to the "wood", then clamp for 24 hours and trim it up.

If you apply glue to the sandpaper, it will buckle (permanently), before you can lay the wood on it - trust me.

My local Harbor Freight has it. And it's exactly the right size for a typical fence.

Lowe's has it. It is sold as anti-slip for stair treads.

Go to your local large sport outlet store and find the skateboard section. Look for the large sheets of grip material they use to customize the tops of their boards. It is already self adhesive and has what seems a more stable and tough surface as it is intended to be stood on.

I have used this to cut strips from for all my sleds and fences (at least the ones that I dont want stuff to slip on ) and still have at elast half a sheet left.

Thin double sided carpet tape will also work.

hardware store, look for no-slip floor tread tape.

my first thought was, 'What a pain pealing each piece of wood off the tape after each cut...'

Sears also sells it in quater sheets for palm sanders.
