My wife hates the cold, I hate the heat. Guess who wins this one?
I came home from work today, and my wife is out running around with her sister without me for once. So I took the time to run out to the garage and work on clearing out the stuff from under the bench, and then replace the legs of the workbench. It probably took me all of 45 minutes. But WOW what a difference the longer legs make!
The working height of the bench is now 37" instead of 30", and the cramped storage space under the bench is now cavernous! I am not going to enclose the bench as that will just make my job all that much harder getting to stuff.
I also moved the 2 giant ice chests full of camping gear into the spare bedroom, as well as one tote. I have a LONG way to go there, but I am getting there..
I am now soaked head to toe in sweat, soaked through my clothes, and probably don't smell exactly like a rose. Nothing is put back where it goes, and the bench mounted tools are not remounted, nor are they likely to be. As I mentioned in a prior post, I have been wanting to move them for a while now..
Maybe, just maybe, if it would COOL OFF, I could finally finish this project of setting up the shop and benches, and get some pics up for you guys and gals to see!
