I will attempt to do so by Monday or Tueday. I saw the hole and wondered. Then a thought crossed my mind. If I took the splitter base anchor plate off.. lined up the splitter and tightened the quick release.. I would just drill a hole for a pin so that in case of kick-back where stock launched up and imparted the Crown guard (the wooden thingy you see mounted top-side).. the pin would keep the splitter base from riding up the anchor bolt and coming off.
I haven't physically done it yet but intend to pick up a pin to-nite when I take my wife out to dinner. Lowe's near-by and I think I saw the stainless pins with O rings attached there. Could have been Ace Hardware though. Anyhooooo.... I just though it would be an added safety catch and thought I would mention it to you in case you might want to in-corporate the idea on your current set-up.
I will keep you posted here or either e-mail as I do believe I filed yours in my personal box or whatever you call those file thingies using e-mail. Fortunately my wife is retired MIS so I have to ask as I am a computer dummy for sure and dummy period could be argued before a jury of 12.
Let you know what happens....
Regards..
