15 minute project my wife compliments me on all the time

My wife has arthritis/rheumatism in her fingers and finds she can't flip the tight lids on her favorite brand of soy sauce using the tiny little lip they provide.

So I made this little customized opener for her that was sized to hook the too- tiny/too tight lip with some leverage.

    Regular bottle opener didn't fit.
Makes her very happy and keeps me in Chinese food. Win-Win.

Of all the stuff I made for her this seems to be the favorite. No project should be too small/below us.

Oh, wow! Can you at least give me a little bit of an overview on the things you did, tools you used to come with that genius idea?

I think it's pretty obvious. A four-5 inch piece of wood for leverage. Used a forster drill to make a hole just larger than the cap and just deeper than the lip.

Then cut a lip to just catch the bottle lip and fastened it to the edge of the hole to raise the lip when the handle is placed as shown to make the cap into a fulcrum for the lever arm created.

Just like a bottle cap opener except I had to lower the catching lip of the opener a little lower.
