    Sign for parents' cabin

I actually made this sign for my parents' cabin in 2008 but just saw it again this weekend for the first time in over 5 years. Something that has always worried me about the sign was that I glued the border trim on around the whole perimeter and left nothing for expansion/contraction. In this case at least, it doesn't seem to matter as those miters seem to be about the same as the day I made it.

The sign is about 14" square and made of white oak. My wife helped me design the stencil which I printed out onto stiff paper, cut out with an Exacto knife, and then sprayed with black spray paint. Then it was all covered with spray on poly.
