This one's from Woodsmith 169. Ash plywood for the case and back, and solid ash for everything else. Finish is tung oil for the light-colored parts and Minwax mahogany (225) for the top and base. Many, many coats of clear gloss spray Deft lacquer over all that. Size is roughly 6' W X 2' H X 1.5' D. Must weigh 150 lbs! The lattice-work for the doors was easy but repetitive - gave my dado blade a workout.
I think I'm addicted to ash.

A note on the clear gloss Deft lacquer spray: if you use all of the contents of the can it will spew out some cloudy ('satin'-like) stuff towards the end and compromise the uniformity of the (lack of) color. So discard the last bit of spray in the can. And I went through two cans that were labeled 'clear gloss' but which were "clearly" not clear at all - more like the satin (I think the cans were mislabeled.)
