BT Mobile base and router table

After many months "thinking" and 8 weekends in the shop my Mobile Base and Router Table is finished!

I have just included a few final pics here but for those that may have missed it there is a more detailed writeup on this project in my BT Mobile Base Diary Thread.

Looks great, Jon! Your idea to mount those lower profile casters on the torsion box appears to have worked out really well. All that effort will pay off for a long time.

          Regards,
          Tom

Looks fantastic. How well does it actually work for you is the big question... Looks like you bought back a LOT of storage space there, and added quite a bit of mass to the whole saw package...

Thanks Tom, not using 4" casters gained a lot of useable storage volume and I sure hope that this setup will last me until the day I get my dedicated shop and a new Unisaw or PM2000 - Some chance

Thanks Bill, done - yes, perfect I am not so sure. I did share some of my mistakes but only I know where the rest are hidden

Thanks DB, so far it works great. You are right about the extra storage and my next job is to redistribute everything that has been lying around the shop or crammed into other storage areas.

The extra mass creates a really stable work surface - its solid as a rock!! I used the new router table to make the last batch of drawers and I love it already. The quick lift feature is totally AWESOME!!
