    Glass cabinet

    Good day

that's the final product of the WIP

This guy is heavy (or I'm getting old) so I installed only the mirror in the garage and carried with my wife to its place, and only then, I installed the side glasses and the doors.

My wife designed it so she is thrilled, but from her design (well, also a little bit from my work).

The glass cabinet is just "sitting" on the lower unit, I did not want to use any screws or so just in case that one day it will be moved over one of the other lower units.

The unit is stained and finished with 5 layers of clear varnish.

i hadnt visited the site for some time now, so it was nice to see a completed project! this encourages me go finish my project, 98% done, its that 2% that i cant find the time for, hopefully i'll get it done and post some pictures.

what kind of wood is that? its not oak right? now you have finished this, any other projects in mind?

Sorry to disappoint you but it is white oak...

For the time being no new projects, the working season is "closed", it's a Polish winter and I don't have heating in the garage, but we shall "open" around April for the new season...

You said something very interesting, those last 2% sometimes takes time like all the 98%...I know...
