    Great job as always, niki.

In project management there's a saying: the first 90% of a project is pretty straightforward, the second 90% is difficult, but it's the last 90% that is really challenging.

that is so true! but i think in my case laziness is playing a considerable factor.

hey, sorry for asking three times, niki, what color is that stain?

          Hi Omar

The colour is Bronze but in Polish, Bronze=Brown.

To control the darkness of the colour, I'm using a rags pad (as you can see on one of the pics) and not a brush.

With the pad, I can apply it in more controlled way and if I want darker, I apply another layer (immediately, without waiting it to dry) till I get (well, my wife gets) the desired darkness.

Niki, that is some pretty amazing work. The grain on the door frame is beautifully subtle.

I also see that you're having a hard time letting go of the tansu approach to design!
The war against inferior and overpriced furniture continues!

The design is my wife's and...well, after so many years in Japan some things are hard to forget.

We are still cooking Japanese food at home...(Tofu and alike)
