    Dog Feeding Station

Since I begged for help finding a suitable dog bone graphic the other day (thanks Anna), I'll show the results.

With the graphic Anna sent I scrollsawed this template:

Milled the inlays from Ambrosia Maple scraps:

    And the result

Not a real project, but fun, I hope the daughter and her Bulldog enjoy it.

It is Red Oak with Maple inlays, finished with nothing but 2 rounds of natural Danish oil. I cut the holes for the bowls with the 1587 jigsaw. The 5 station feeder I did for our mob I routed the holes, jigsawing is definitely the way to go.
The inlays were done with a Whiteside inlay set and Dewalt 618 router with clear base. The clear base sure makes it easier than a solid base that I've used for inlays before. I think I'm 'touch challenged' so I need to see where the bushing is.
Thanks for taking the time to look,
    ken

Nice work, Ken! I'm sure the dog won't have a bone to pick with that one!

Great looking feeder, nice job, a lot of work. Can't let my shepherds see that. BTW did your dog try to eat the bones?
