    LCHIEN -

Thought I would come out and thank you for the inspiration. There are probably more of us - who, seeing your post were inspired to put out some names. Thanks! - Joe

          Loring and Joe,
You are both to be commended for your work, these look great. I have been looking for something that my daughter might like to do in the garage with me and now I have it thanks to you guys. She has not liked the way her mom and I spelled her name for quite some time because she can never find anything personalized. Now she can make her own...."Kayli" is her name.

Another thing you can do, is to use the computer and about 400+ point type to print out letters about 6" wide and 8-10" tall. (experiment), one letter to a page (not too bad for a five-letter name like Kayli.) Pick a font that has easy but intersting features, fat strokes (vertical and horizontal), use the BOLD version if possible.

Cut them out of 1x6 or 1x8 pine lumber.
then you have these big block letters you can paint and hang on the wall, great for a kid to personalize a room.
