Dimensions of BT3x00 Rip/Miter fence profile

Click image for larger version Name:	Capture rip fence profile from Vision dimensioned drawing.jpg Views:	1 Size:	60.6 KB ID:	855068
    Made this measurement tonight.
Dimensions of all the slots on the Rip/Miter fence (same extrusion if you never knew).
Viewed from right end of miter, user end of rip fence.
    All dimensions in inches, +/-.005
I scanned the profile on my scanner and then used calipers to measure and apply the dimensions manually to the image.
No guarantee that its to scale altho it probably is.

My observation is that 1.125" x 1/8" flat aluminum bar will slide nicely into the top and bottom slots
and 1.00" x 1/8" flat aluminum bar stock will slide handily into the rip fence right hand slot (front slot of miter fence).
These bars also fit the front and back rails. I lock them in place using a 1/4-28 set screw to the fence if you need them locked.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

Thank you for this! I've saved the image to my BT3x folder. It will come in handy. Taking all of those measurements must have been tedious!

You're welcome. Probably an hour. Scanning the profile to a graphic helped a lot. It's a complex shape but I didn't have to draw it. . All I had to do was annotate it with the key dimensions of the slots. If I had to recreate the drawing from the dimensions it would be a LOT of work.
