You're going to have to either make a plate or drill the one you have. I had the fixed base for my 618 attached to a MDF plate that attached to the bottom of my craftsman 21829 accessory table. It worked, but after I picked up a router lift (jessem FX) and made an extension out of phenolic ply I have never even thought about mounting it like before again.ErikComment

The accessory table for the 21829 I believe is different from the BT3x00...
LCHIEN is right, you will need the router mounting kit, and will likely have to align and drill / countersink the mount plate for the mounting holes for your specific router. I did for my Hitachi.
Another popular option is to build a router table wing with a standard router plate insert. Basically you would be building a narrow router table top to fit between the rails... It all depends on how fancy you want to get. Please like and subscribe to my YouTube channel. Please check out and subscribe to my Workshop Blog.Comment

Yes and no, the 21829 table top has the same bolt hole pattern as the plate that goes to BT accessory table (the same pattern that doesn't fit most non-ryobi or craftsman routers). I've got the BT router kit and a couple BT accessory tables too. I think I'll start another thread with some photos comparing the two.

the bt3 has a thin top and mounting holes for a plate. the plate is intended to be drilled to mount the router so its usually 1/4" think aluminum - plywood with inserts or sturdy pastic like Lexan might be used if you do not have a plate from the router mounting kit. There are four widely spaced holes for mounting the plate which is drilled and tapped to match these holes.
The 21829 has mounting holes in the top but each hole is reinforced with bosses below. Mounting a router for which there are no holes is tricky because there will be boss to support the router at that point even if a custon hole is drilled.
But the OP asked sepcifically about the BT3000.

The BT plate out of the router mounting kit can be used on the 21829. The 4 tapped holes on the plate have corresponding holes & bosses on the 21829 table. The router will be a little over a 1/4" lower than a BT mount though. The 21829 has mounting holes in the top but each hole is reinforced with bosses below.
