Wide Table Kit (BT3100 or BT3000)

Will the wide table kit for the 3100 work on the 3000? Both are available on Amazon, but the 4730301 (3100) is $30+ cheaper than the 4730300 for the 3000. Don't want to be stupid and get something that doesn't fit, but $30 is $30...

The Wide Table kit difference is merely the color of the rails. Silver for the BT3000, black for the BT3100. So yes, they will fit.

actually there is more difference than just the color. Ryobi changed the profile slightly, however, all the components will fit and the slots align at the important places.

Is there a change in the profile of the silver and black? I've got both types of sets, but I never really comapred the two. They have both been connected to my 21829 rails, which I know are different.

I have had a silver set on my BT3100, never noticed a profile difference... If it was there it was REAL minor...

I have both and the rear rail appears to be identical. The front rails, as loring says, is identical in all the important places but is a little shorter at the front where the measuring scale would be.

OK, I've never put them togeather to comapre. They have always been connected to either end of my 21829 rails. The 21829 front rails changed the measuring scale area too. It's different from both of the black and silver BT rails. The 21829 extrusion is a thinner than the earlier BT extrusions. The important places line up correctly with all of them.
