    ruler for rails

I have my extension rails. I would like to add the ruler down the length of them similar to what the OEM rails have. Anyone know exactly which rulers would fit? I'm having a hard time finding a thin ruler with a sticky back that wont interfere with the rip fence.

Lee Valley (and others) sell the Starrett. When I was replacing my rails I checked several different self-sticking rules and found that not only did the Starrett most closely match my reference rules, it was also very easy to read. I also like the fact that it is on a metal substrate so it won't stretch when you apply it.

That Woodcraft tape that LCHIEN linked would work, so would the similar ones from Rockler... The big difference is do you want a white backed tape, or a yellow one? I personally like the white one better, easier contrast for my eyes to catch...

I just Googled for the Starrett tape, Lee Valley seems to have something else... The woodcraft link is for Starrett tapes...
