    Decode Serial On Sears 228110

Could anyone help me figure out when my Sears 228110 table was was build and if it has the 13 or 15 amp motor? It's serial number is T124620614.

I could stand to be corrected here. But I did not think the 22811 ever had the 13amp motor. The few that I have seen look to be later model BT3000s.

Do you mean the 228110 might have never had the 13 amp only the 15 amp or do you mean there could be some other type of motor in the 228110?

I think the 22811 was only ever offered with the 15 amp motor. I could be wrong though. I thought Sears introduced the 22811 after the BT3000 was upgraded to the 15 amp motor...

I'm pretty sure that the 22811 was contemporary with the later production BT3000s period and never had a 13A motor. The 13A motor was only in year one BT3000s.
