    Clamping squares, Lee Valley

Seems like a good deal, 12 squares, 4 each of three sizes for $17.50 thru February 18 2021

If you use these, Lee Valley usually makes top Notch stuff and squares are really handy for clamping up square assemblies when gluing or fastening.

You get 3", 4", 6" squares, four each for $17.50
Rockler squares 8" are $10 each and 4" are $10 each.

And all these years I thought that was what scrap plywood was for. They do look like a good product at a good price. Twenty years ago, they would have been way too expensive for my budget. Now, not so much.

One feature is supposed to be how very square and rigid they are.

I documented how I made some good ones equal to the Rockler in this post#2 of this thread:

      https://www.sawdustzone.org/forum/di...-have-you-made

I made four of them which would have cost $40 at Rocker.

But for $17.50, I'd sooner buy this set and have 12 in three sizes.

I'm thinking about getting a set of these.

I don't know if any of you remember, but when Rockler first came out with theirs a number of years ago, some of them were not perfect 90° and they caught heck for it.

Great tip, thanks! $27 shipped still seems great. I have a few squares, I never seem to have enough various sizes of them.

This seemed like a nice addition too, and it's going for 1/4 the price of Amazon.

Free shipping over $30... order something worth 12.50 and save about $10 shipping making it only cost an extra $2.50.... LV has lots of cute little gizmos in measuring and setup.
Saddle squares, pocket square, setup blocks, drill stops, vix bits, dowel centers, under $20.see images

Those are pretty cool. I’d be interested but a friend just got a cnc and is practicing so he made me a bunch.
