That's not a bad price for a cheap place to put your tailbone...

A good deal for a stool with a padded seat. Whatever happened to wood stools?

            .

                  Need Backs

The ones with the back rests are better and are sometimes on sale

After emptying the legs and seats from the box, i pulled out the Parts Bag...

First thing i noticed was the single use 10 mm flat wrench. Then i saw the hex wrench with a #2 Phillips in one end. For Pete's sake, these are supposed to be CRAFTSMAN stools. If the buyer doesn't have a 10 mm wrench/socket and a #2 Phillips they should be required to return the stools--no refund, just a sheepish return with an announcement on the store intercom that somebody without a pair of pliers and a screwdriver tried to be a poser by buying a pair of c-man stools!!

Real comfortable, nice height, easy assembly--but as a snub i did drag out 4 real screwdrivers and used each with pride, along with 6 and 12 point 1/4 and 3/8 drive sockets and a 10 mm combination wrench. Could have done it with one of each--but i was protesting!!

Thanks for posting Tommy--i needed the stools...and a good grin!!

Unfortunately I didn't post the original ,it was jussi, tho I could have but I wanted to see how well these are made before posting whether or not they are a worthwhile buy. Honestly they could have put more padding in the seat,.maybe a 1/2 inch before you hit the plywood or whatever they have used as the bottom of the seat. I may have to look into adding some as my bottom requires a certain style of comfort it had grown accustomed to over the yrs and these look to not have much there. Otherwise, the tables OK,they'll look great in the mancave but really are kinda thin in the seating area, for the money with the extra padding I'll put in,yeh, they are OK, great rant tho Earl loved it,lol

Don't most of us have enough padding on our own seats already?

Gotta be better than this stool I bought at Woodcraft for about the same price. Hard plastic, no padding.

Wish I had waited, but I needed to upgrade from a wood box. Perhaps I'll buy a cushion for mine, I think these would be too tall for my shop.
I have a little blog about my shop
