i got one of these when Rockler was had them on sale, I think like $15? They work OK.

No replies means that anyone of them could have gotten it or already had one or maybe had no luck finding it.

Actually Rockler has them for $9.99 right now. I have a no-minimum free shipping code if anyone needs it.

can you think of any reason it wouldn't work on a RAS?

I think as long as it has a 5/8ths inch arbor it will work on anything

I paid $15, and wish I didn't. No real use if you need accuracy.

Yup, they aren't designed for accuracy, just speed cuts like for decking, framing, etc, if you need one they work fine for that, when using any saw for accuracy like I said I always sight off the blade, don't think I would have tossed one just because of that. I have used them before building decks etc when accuracy is no big deal as a sander is gonna finish off that 1/32 or 16th these are going to cut over or under depending on where you mount it as with any tool its use is what you make of it. As I recall it says so on the package cuts to either side of the lasr line depending on where you mount itJust have to know how to use it

i may just get another one. what's that no-minimum free shipping code? and do you think it will operate properly on a RAS or will the left hand threads present any kind of a problem?

I don't like or use the saw lasers. IMO, not even accurate for close to rough cuts. I would prefer they leave them off the tools, and reduce the cost of the tool.
