Kreg Screws Clearance Sears.com ~75% off

    http://www.sears.com/shc/s/s_10153_1...?sbf=Clearance

I just happened upon this at Sears.com. Large packs of Kreg screws at around 75% off. They are going fast. I lost one while it was in my cart . Shipping is kinda high, but still a deal, I think.

They have free shipping to the store, so if you're close to one of their stores, this is a great deal.

It was tempting to go hog wild, but I settled on coarse (100) and fine (500) 1.25" and 1" fine (1000).

      Thanks.

Thanks. I picked up 500 1 inch fine and coarse and 500 1.5 inch coarse. 1 inch are for 1/2 inch wood and 1.5 for 1 inch. I passed on the 1 1/4 even though I use them the most. The price is very good for stainless steel but I don't need stainless steel. McFeeleys is cheaper for regular 1.25 inch.

            Hmm ...
Interesting, I went to sears site, picked up some screws, totaling around $60 and was suggested $34 for shipping. No in store pickup. Looks like shipping charges just kill the deal.

The free shipping to the store does not appear until you get further into the purchasing process. I figured if it didn't appear before I had to give the credit card number I'd kill it but it was there. I don't know if that is your problem but it might be worth going a few steps into the purchasing process and see if that option isn't offered.

yeah same thing here. the free ship to store offer does not appear until late in the checkout process, be patient. It works. Otherwise, like you say, it would be a deal killer.

                  Hinges too

Thanks for the tip. Noodled a bit after putting screws in cart--found 12" piano hinges at $3.74 each and strap hinges for $0.61 each so i got some of each--thinking of building an outfeed table--plus at that money they'll just be nice to have around.

Last year they had another sale for Kreg screws. You could buy 5000 for $39.00 If your purchase was over a certain amount, the shipping was free. I ordered 3 boxes of various sizes. My cost was several dollars short for the free shipping, so I ordered another box. By having 20,000 Kreg screws I am now the butt of many family jokes. Oh well. I got the free shipping!!

Well, they were out of the 1" screws and the 1/25" non-SS screws. But I still picked up a few anyways. $29.99 exactly after tax...
