Wow, I might actually could like maybe sell some of those here in the south for $100 and make a little money, now if they were just the better older models instead of those crappier designed ones from the past coupla yrs I'd be all over that, but what would I do with 3 planers anywaystoo bad its not the 1 underneath in the pic, a much better planer by far that the 1301

I was just logging in to post the $137.06 price I saw today. Looks like the AP1301 is history... Hope I can still get knives for mine!

I stocked up on knives several months ago when mine were getting dull. Then I realized they were double-sided. One thing I really like about the AP-1301 is how easy it is to change the knives, once you wrestle some bolts loose.

For a price like that, it almost makes a guy wish he had a use for it.

I've had one of these for a while and have had good results from it. I'm not sure what the other 13" planers do better, Very little snipe on mine. I do get to use some big industrial ones sometimes and it is awesome but the results seem to be just about the same.

your bigger problem is finding a store that has any left and will honor that price.

I had to go to 3 Home Depots, but I got a display model for $90 (marked at $130). Now I just need the yellow key for it... can I just use a paperclip or something?

if you download the owners manual from here:

                              http://manuals.ryobitools.com/system...8_eng.pdf?2011

see page 12, Assembly, under Unpacking. ryobi will send any missing parts to you for free. i just wouldn't tell them what you paid for it. i got a floor model for $25 missing a few things (height adjust handle, loose tools, etc.). all arived yesterday.
