I got an email canceling the WS2000, but it didn't say the WS3000 was canceled. I guess they'll cancel the 3000 soon.

Oh well, it was fun pretending. I've tried for several deals like this in the past with various vendors. Backordered almost always means your order will be canceled, so I didn't have high hopes for this one.

And there it is now, my 3000 is also canceled.

The order status on hd.com is interesting, they list them as "All Cancelled".

Ordered a 2000 on the 24th, status today shows "All Shipped" and even has a UPS tracking number indicating it's due to arrive tomorrow, total cost $42.29. Guess I was one of the lucky ones...?

Mine was canceled. If you get tracking informaton on UPS, you should be good, however.

HD just cancelled my ws3000 order placed Dec. 26. "If it seems too good to be true, it probably isn't."

I got an email from HD. They are getting more stock and will honor my original order. I needed to call them to verify that I still wanted the item. My sharpeners should be in stock in about 30 days.
