Good deal on Worksharp 3000 supposed to be valid 12/23 - 1/05. Shipping and tax on mine puts it around $75.

I see the Worksharp 2000 is $32.25 before tax and shipping, also.

Says online only.

On my confirmation I see it shows as backordered. Well, I guess we'll see how long it takes.

Thanks for the heads up! I figure though that it's probably a mistake in pricing. But since 2000 is still available, I figured $40 including shipping is worth it, if only for crude tools like garden stuff. If the 3000 does come back I'm in for one too!

I looked at the reviews on the 2000, and ordered it. 3000 is OOS, and I don't have a single thing to sharpen my chisels. Figured for under $43 shipped, it would be worth it.

I ordered one also. I have a 2000 and like it. But the 3000 offers more versatility plus I won't have to change grits so much. Just hope that they deliver!

30 minutes after ordering I received an email acknowledging back order and stating that it would be shipped when in stock.

also had a link to cancel order if I so desired.

Only time will tell.......


At least it won't show up on credit card until it is back in stock.....

A word of caution - returns of online purchases from HD must be mailed back, they cannot be returned to the store. DAMHIKT

Not sure if that's what you had in mind, just wanted to mention it since it is an unusual and unexpected policy.
