It was a PC 690. The fence is a newer design that has a taller Aluminum angle support with an integral T-slot. The metal leg set is preetty sturdy too. All in all I guess it's still a pretty good deal.

This current deal surprised me since I was really only looking for lift and I've never seen anything close to this price.

Has anyone had to make modifications for the size of the router plate? My current router table has a 9x12 opening, whic is 1/4" to wide on one side and 1/4" too narrow on the other. I didn't see any options for different size plates, so I'm guessing it would require modifications to the opening in my tabletop.

fortunately for me, the plate precisely matched the opening in my existing woodpecker table.

If you already have an existing plate, it might be better for you (since you can make the opening larger in one dimension but not smaller in the other) to move the Jessem mechanism to your existing plate by machining whatever mounting holes it needs in the right places. Phenolic would be real easy to drill. If you have a set of transfer centerpunches that will work, or you can simply clamp the two plates together and use the new plate as a guide to drill the holes of the same diameter.

        Just a thought.

Transferring the numerical dial face off of the jessem that surrounds the hole for the lifting mechanism crank might not be too easy though.

If it were me, I'd either place a new top over the existing table top probably using some phenolic ply

or just glue in an 1/8" hardwood filler strip on the sides of the old opening and route the other sides wider. The jessem plate has about a 1/2" lip which bears on a lower ledge of the router table top. I'm not sure how the radiused corners of the old plate opening will work with the filler and the new opening. I don't think loosing an 1/8" of bearing surface on the two short sides would make too much of a difference. The height leveling screws would still be on the bearing ledge.

Kind a wish the smaller Mast-R-Lift (8-1/4" X 11-3/4") was on sale as well. It would have been perfect for my Bench Dog 40-001 ProTop Contractor Benchtop Router Table. Thanks for the post though!

I couldn't pass up the imported Mast-R-Life. I've been eying the Canadian made ones ($300 +) for several years and they've always been just out of reach. I'm also looking forward to building out a proper router table w/ fence and finally have a use for an old shop-vac that I keep tripping over.

Thanks a bunch for posting the alert.
