Since I am a Wood Magazine subscriber, I get the digital edition free. I do not particularly want to cut up my print copy just to get a coupon. Does anyone here know if Harbor Freight will honor the coupons printed from digital editions of the magazines they publish in?

Its Harbor Freight, the only thing guranteed is that anything you buy will have a particular stench for a good three months.
In all seriousness, it varies from store to store, but I've never had an issue with a copied or digitally printed coupon, as long as the barcode can scan you're in business. -
I agree that it does depend on the particular manager. It's worth a try. Just take the magazine with you in case you have to have the original. If they tell you they will not take a printed coupon, you can show them that you indeed have the original, but you'd rather not use it. That could possibly change their minds.

I am starting to know some of the people that work at my local HF. The last 2 times in there they gave me 20% on one item with out a coupon. They used a coupon that they have at the register to do this. I have a few coupons but did not use them because I was buying a bunch of inexpensive items (less than $5).Comment

i find it amazing they can freely give so many 20% off deals and still make money. I wonder what their retail price margin is...?

I have often wondered that myself...I am sure their markup is substantial, and I would guess that they have a LOT of loss leaders as well. I know when I bought the compressor, I used a coupon for that, then added the extended warranty tot he price so they made a few more bucks from me. The hose was full price, the nail gun was the 20% coupon, the fittings and nails were full price...
I am sure that with certain items, like the 2HP DC, they probably only make 1-2% after all discounts are figured in...
They HAVE to figure in something for profit or they wouldn't be in business...Please like and subscribe to my YouTube channel. Please check out and subscribe to my Workshop Blog.Comment

Wynn Environmental offers the most popular cartridge for this DC, I believe Highland Hardware sells the 1 micron bags if you would rather go the bag route. Please like and subscribe to my YouTube channel. Please check out and subscribe to my Workshop Blog.Comment

At that price I would think it is a loss leader, but you never know. They may be dragging those things into the stores for $100.00 or even $120.00 a pop. They seem to keep the sales and 20% off coupons, or straight non combinable coupons to around a total of $140.00 for the 2HP DC, which makes me think they have a margin they want to meet, and are keeping the price over that. Please like and subscribe to my YouTube channel.
