I was at Lowes last evening and they are having "Commercial Value Days" sale going on through 9/21. One item listed was their Task Force folding saw horse, buy a pair and get a pair free. I like the lightweight folding horses for many tasks and they don't take up much room when put away. So for $29.94 +tax I got 4 saw horses.

Are you talking about the yellow steel ones with the telescoping legs? I got a pair of those about 6 months ago for around $40.00Please like and subscribe to my YouTube channel. Please check out and subscribe to my Workshop Blog.Comment

Thanks for the heads up. I was about to make a cheap wooden set, but didn't really have the time. I've always thought these were overpriced, but I can handle this price.Comment

I bought 4 of those type of sawhorses a while back and can't remember where I got them. I keep them at home and they have to stay outside of the shed, as "no more room" has taken over. They weren't expensive, and will last long enough for the money. They are great.
The guy that sold and installed our verticals had two sawhorses that he said he got from HD. They had fairly heavy looking legs, and were height adjustable. Every time I go into a HD they are never there. And of course nobody working there knows anything about them.

$75/pair
I have the $10/2 sears that go on sale, actually made in USA but very light duty. Only good for painting supports. The HFT ones are bad, and not that cheap in price. The older steel made in USA ones are excellent, mine are orange, from HTC or maybe Fuler. I have 2x6's screwed to the tops.
Might check these out at Lowe's.
update; Yes these are on sale as said but no ad for some reason.Last edited by Andrew Benedetto; 09-20-2009, 09:41 AM.AndrewComment
