      Same as my Delta

This unit appears to be exactly like my Delta unit, that I purchased at Lowes 3 years ago. As we all know, the majority of power tools come out of the same Chinese factories and this one is identical. I wouldnt hesitate to buy this unit, mine has many hours of trouble free use, with nice cuts. It isnt the most powerful and I take couple more shallower cuts if needed but way out performs the benchtop units that are close in price. I had a benchtop Delta and love the larger unit. Google Delta JT360 and compare for yourself.

I had to decide between this Steelex jointer, the Central Machinery 6", the Sunhill SM-150B, and the Delta benchtop (I forget the model #). I opted for the Sunhill due to floor space issues in my shop. I don't often find a need for the longer bed of the Steelex. But it sure would be useful on the rare occasions when the benchtop jointer is just too small...
