I got one last night at the Hulen store in SW Ft. Worth. There were 2 more on the shelf. I had called the White Settlement store, they were out, and I stopped him when he said the Hulen store showed 3. Could be more around.
Thanks again for the heads up, Alex!! But my wallet is starting to sting a little from the deals that keep showing up here! Jim.

I think I will be one of the greedy *******s. Found five at one location here, will grab them all. One for me, two for friends who can't get there, two to sell.

Just snagged one at the Gaithersburg, MD store at Shady Grove Road and I-270.
As of 8:30pm Wednesday they still had 7 more in stock that I could see. There is no price tag in sight so they might still be there.

I checked the San Diego Carmel Mountain store last night. No luck. I asked nicely and the store employee checked other local stores for me in the computer system. Unfortunately all the eight or so local stores he checked as local came up dry on the SKU.

None in my neck of the woods either. Had three of them at the local HD, but a contractor bought all them. At least he will use them in an honest way to make a profit.

I didn't find the Ridgid, but....

I did find a Campbell Hausfeld (sp) with a combo stapler/nailer for $59.99. I gave it a day to decide if I really needed it or not and decided to get it. I have a compressor already but it's a used harbor freight that I got from a hock shop. I've had it for about 3 years and it's worked find, but it's not very portable and really noisy.
SO, with the new compressor, I am building a cart that holds the compressor and the spare 5 gallon tank I have. With any luck, I'll be done today and I'll get some pics.

No luck with the Ridgid, but pacwind3 I picked up a colemate pancake compressor with brad nailer/stapler for $50 from Lowes a couple of months ago since I also have a Harbor Freight compressor that is loud and not very portable and I kind of had buyers remorse as soon as I bought it.

The first time I used it, the remorse immediately went away and now I find myself using it all the time and I love it!

Now I don't have to worry about waiting until LOML wakes up on the weekends until I can use a compressor!

The anticipation of death is worse than death itself!

So don't worry about using those power tools in the rain with a frayed cord!

Agree with Mike on that PowerMate pancake compressor with nailer/stapler combo. For the price it is a pretty decent deal. I got mine almost a year ago and have used it quite often. I also was very surprised at how quiet it was.

Not much of a tank, so you won't go very far before it cycles on -- but it is small enough you could darn near strap it to your belt.

The gun is good quality -- I haven't had any jambs or problems with mine.

I did manage to get in on the Ridgid deal for $49, so it is my new most favorite portable compressor -- but the PowerMate will continue to ride around in the back of my truck full time.

Just slightly louder than the PowerMate, but I'd have to listen pretty close if they were on the other side of the shop to notice the difference.

I just bought one today and I am very impressed. Esp for $50
I was surprised at how quite it is. I borrowed a friends PC pancake one the other day and it was too loud to have in the same room as my 5mo old daughter, I needed to hang some crown molding. I don't think she would even notice the Ridgid .

TBarn, which part of PA did you find it in? The only store in SE PA that "may" have it is down to 1 and in their mind one = "O"; I took a look myself but there are lots and lots of shelves to scour so they may be right. Just curious about the part of PA as it appears that the district including Lancaster Co. never even received that item as a stocked item. Enjoy finding the Holy Grail of Deals!

Not everyone who comes across a bargain gets it from this website, or even another website. I'm sure many or you ( I know I did / do ) look for bargains whenever I went / go shopping. Wife knows that I will hit the bargain / clearance section wherever I go. Always have, still do!! Don't care what kind of store I'm in, or were I'm at.
