Sounds similar to my experience. I was told people were using them to "scam" Sears. I asked what kind of scam one could run with a coupon offered by Sears itself, but there wasn't much of an answer to that question. I mean, come on - it's five bucks! I can understand the store managers being pissy about the drill press thing a while back - that was serious money. Is it worth five bucks to lose a customer forever?
Short of an amazing clearance bargain that Sears loses money on, I won't be shopping there anymore. This kind of thing is starting to be an all-too-common occurrence in their stores.
