        lol

i have a kenmore vacuum, and literally went through the line 4 times, a couple weeks ago, with a similar coupon. Vac bags and filters at Sears never go on sale....half price baby.

got a $40 impact driver for $5 too! it was on sale for $10....voila!

btw, you can get the 12" quck clamps for $5. they're on sale for $9.99

These $5 off $5 coupons are AWESOME. I just back back from Sears and spent $13 on $60 worth of stuff. That's 80% off!!!

A few craftsman bottle openers for $2, 10 carpenters pencils and sharpener for less than $1, drill bits for less than $1, gardening tools for $2, etc.

Stocking stuffers from me, to me.
What if there is no tomorrow?....there wasn't one today!

Thanks. I saved $5 off on the laser measuring tool. I figured for $10 what the heck. I'm going back tomorrow for a $5 multimeter.

I used 3 coupons in 3 transactions tonight without problem. The cashier hadn't seen them before but was cool about it. But you do need to verify that item you want is from department is 09 (tools) or 71 (lawn & garden). This is the first numbers on the item number tag above the barcode on the shelf. I did notice that the multimeters, flashlights, and extension cords were dept 34 (electrical?) so the coupon didn't work on those.

I'm going back tomorrow for some PSA sandpaper and more LED christmas lights (strangely, they're dept 71)

I struck out. The cashier said "someone had put the coupons on the Internet and they weren't valid". I said "yes, they're on the Internet - on Sears' web site." He said he wouldn't accept it.

                    YMMV.

Complete bullshit. My Dad and I used them today around 1:00 PM. They scanned them and they worked perfectly fine. Did he refuse the SCAN the item? I may have slapped that person.

Yup, he refused to even scan it. He told me not to try to use it, since "it would get me in trouble".

I've always enjoyed shopping at Sears, but after the drill press fiasco (which I won't get into now, but if you think you've heard it all...think again!) and a couple of other blunders (fortunately confined to the local store), it's no wonder they're in trouble.

Oh, so he treated you like a child as well. Nice. Holy smokes. That is just stupid. I mean its their freaking website that the coupon is coming from! I can understand HD not honoring those 20% off that are being sold on ebay, but man that is just CRAZY.

I think I may go use about 50 or so of them tomorrow.

It is not but $5.00 but if he told me that someone there would have scanned that coupon before I left.

I was also told last night that they were unauthorized coupons and the cashier would not accept it. He was the department manager. I suppose I should have gone to another register and tried somewhere else.
