Maybe it's a typo -- maybe it's actually a 100" band saw that's designed to fit in the space of a 10" saw.

In any case, I have a used stock Ryobi 10" saw blade -- quite dull by now, but lots of good memories. Priced to sell, and I'll even load it up for you at $499.99.

I think y'all missed the key factor, visible in the label that shows in the second photo. This is one of those rare and elusive motorized band saws.

You know, as opposed to the kind you have to pedal.

Don't know what prices where for a bandsaw years ago, but is it possible that the person is basing it off the price they paid 10-15 years ago?


I have seen several scammers on Ebay that sell HF stuff with about a 15% markup on non sale prices. They brag it comes direct from the factory. I think all they are doing is taking your order and cash then ordering on line to have it delivered to you.

I suppose IF I actually wanted that saw, I would go in and point out its age and the cost of comparable new saws and make an offer of $40, worst he can say is no but I would not say anything if I had no intention of buying it if he said OK to my offer.

My earlier comment is based on people don't want you to call them or contact them, tell them how wrong they are, and then waste their time by not being a buyer.

I think its great, lets you get to know people and occasionally I get to read a reply that lets me see that I am sometimes narrow minded and dead wrong (more times than I would like to admit). Good for the soul.
