I tried to pricematch with the receipt in the Sterling store, but the best they would do was $120 for the display. Today I was in Woodbridge to use my 30% coupon at HF for the XY vise and stopped by Lowes. Now they weren't supposed to have any but there was one new in the box. The manager let the pricematch go through because he told me they weren't even supposed to have any. There is still a display one left there.

I tried to get them to price match the receipt at two local stores and No luck. I think they are still laughing.

My local Lowes does not like to price match, but I waited them out when they put out the display model for $180, waited until they finaly put it out for $90 and picked it up.

I was SO close to getting this PM this weekend, but a manager happened by and got nosy, and shot it down. He said they would only do their cost, which was $150-ish. Lame. He said if I had a receipt from a local store (NE Atlanta), he would do it (although I still think he would try to get out of it).

I went to one of the Augusta, GA stores yeesterday morning (after leaving HD) to look for this item. I asked the vendor who works the tool dept if they had any. He said that one didn't, but the other Augusta stores had some. I went to the other store this morning and he was there also (he said he works all three stores). I showed the receipt to one of the employees who called the manager who said OK; the vendor knocked the price of the display to $53 and give me the display stand because he said they were just going to get rid of it anyway. Then he told me he'd be @ the Evan's store tomorrow. I said I only needed one!
