    Ryobi laser level kit $9.99

i posted this on the tool section (as I was looking for opinions prior to my purchase) , but think it warrants a post here. i picked one up today, used it and think it's a fantastic deal.

the HD near me had plenty up front, with the LCD TV's and holiday tool specials. so if you want to save on shipping, try to get one at your local HD. if not, you can get one via hd.com

Might just have to stop by tomorrow and see if I could pick up one for me and one for me father-in-law.

Checked out 2 HD stores in the twin cities area and neither had them on sale, both showed regular price. Ended up going with buying one on the HD website and paying the shipping. Still a good deal at under $20.00 total

HD store here had them right at the entrance. It was marked $9.97 but rang up at $29.97 That was quickly corrected by the supervisor. They have several left, and I found another bunch in the DeWalt endcap display.

They are on clearance for $30.00 in Northern NJ

Checked the HDs on RT 17 N in Mahwah, NJ and on Rt 23 N in Butler, NJ. Both stores had plenty of stock with the item marked as being on clearance for $29.97.

Can someone post a 10.00 receipt?

              Uncle Hook,

I can fax you one if you would like. Unfortunately I don't have a scanner, and I left my camera at a friends place over the weekend.

I have a receipt from about an hour away in New York.

I checked Shakopee, Burnsville, Apple Valley, and South St. Paul (twin city area) and all were $39.97 or something like that. If someone gets a good legible copy of a receipt I would really appreciate it. Don't know if any of the stores will match but worth a try.

The inconsistency in how HD handles sales is irritating.

Our local HD resisted a woman's entreaties for the $99 DeWalt drill special and $10 Ryobi kit. The tool guy believed her story about being out of town and wanted to do her the favor but the managers was 'no way Jose'.

If someone could post the receipt for a recent purchase it would help many of us with uncooperative stores.

                        Thanks

i faxed a receipt to somebody here.....if that person has the capabilities to scan it, please post it.

                          thanks

i always go to the lead cashier, those disenchanted managers are oblivious to their corporation's policies and often irascible. the lead cashier is always courteous and expiditious

The problem is with the store's pricing manager. Corporate sends out the new prices and it is up the the pricing manager to change the prices in the computer and on the shelves. Now if that person isn't doing their job, then you might want to call or send corporate an email with the store number, the SKU number and a brief synopsis of the conversation you had with the store manager. I'll bet that the pricing manager suddenly gets inspired.

They finally marked them down to $9.99 here in Lawton. They have piles of them everywhere. Must be why they marked them down. They also have the 5 pack of Husky led flashlights that for $4.99.
