I guess I was an early bird -- my worm, uhhh, blade has an expected ship date of June 14. We'll see....

I am presently in need of a new blade for my RAS. Do you think this WW2 will work, or I should order the 60-tooth WW1 for $70? The WW1 description actually mentions radial saws....

I think the WW1 was designed for cross cutting table, miter and RAS saws.
Now if you are doing a lot of ripping with the RAS, I'd hesitate, but
the WW1 would seem to be the better choice, otherwise.

I am considering a new blade for my miter saw, which has about the same considerations. Forrest makes a Chopmaster blade which is better for miter saws and RAS due to the negative face hook, only about $15.00 more at Amazon.com right now.

I ordered the blade on Monday and got an estimate delivery date around July 19 to August 4. Just got a email stating item was shipped.

That's good news, given the further out estimated date. Mine's been on a truck since yesterday, and should arrive tomorrow.

              Regards,
              Tom

Interesting, mine was supposed to ship July 17, and it hasn't shipped. I wonder how they work all of that stuff, I'd say.....not well.

I received mine yesterday afternoon. Funny thing is it was shipped on DHL but the postman brought it. When I inquired at Amazon they said that was the usual deal for DHL. Seems like it would cost more to use two shipping "companies" but I guess they are big enough to get "deals".

Before they began doing overnight deliveries and in order to compete with UPS, USPS was an authorized agent for DHL. Anything you shipped overnight at the post office was actually handled by DHL. I guess they still have some kind of relationship.
