I had absolutely no trouble with Eagle or the subcontractor that ABF used and both parts came within a week. I guess it very much depends on where you are.

Just an FYI, I got my top yesterday but I am waiting on the cabinet. I checked Eagle's online tracking and it's been sitting in the same place since Wednesday. I called Eagle (who was very pleasant to deal with) and they were confused why they subcontractor hasn't delivered it yet, so they told me to call them. Called them up, and sure enough they had it sitting on a truck, but had the wrong phone number for me so couldn't arrange a delivery. I should have it delivered this afternoon.

I'm going to contact Amazon and try and figure out what happened and make sure my account information is correct.

That's why if you read my previous post on this thread, I noted to make sure that your contact information is current. Happened to me before You should be able to update your contact information on your account profile in Amazon.

Anyway my cabinet came in today so all three packages have been received. Delivered by EGL and the delivery guy was the same guy that delivered my DELTA 50-850 dust collector. This gentleman just put the box on his shoulder and carried it to the spot that I have set aside in the garage. Never had a bad experience with EGL that I can recall.

Too bad, I am helping my brother in law move this coming Saturday so I probably won't have time to put it together. If I can still walk on Sunday, I'll try to put it together and post pics and reviews

All of my info was correct and my delivery sat at MDT airport for a week. Seems the problem is the link between them and their independent contractors for home delivery. They have a whole different segment for home delivery.

My Amazon account info is correct, else, ABF could not have called me. The EGL order is showing as having been scanned in Atlanta around midnight, and "On-Hand At Destination" this morning @ 6am, so maybe they'll be contacting me soon. Unfortunately I got an Email from Amazon this am regarding the mobile base which said it was delayed and a status check indicated their source was out and they were changing to a different source...oh well...

I can't seem to find where in My Account my phone number is listed, but IIRC I entered it when I placed the order. It was right b/c ABF contacted me w/o a problem.

I got the base this afternoon, so now I've got everything. I'll hopefully get some time to set it up on Thursday, and hopefully won't find any surprised when I unpack it all.

Finally had a chance to open all three boxes.. Assembly of the mobile base was a snap however when I tried to attach the mobile base to the bottom of the jointer base only one hole lined up . Is this mobile base not suppose to be screwed to the bottom of the jointer base? The inside dimensions of the base is 13-1/2 by 18-1/2 inches but the outer dimension of the jointer base is less than that. Anybody else that ordered this jointer and got the free mobile base experience this? Did you have to cut a piece of board to act as the sub base in between the bottom of the jointer base and the mobile base? Greatly appreciate the info.

Chris, I have mine sitting on the mobile base, nothing in between, no bolts, no plywood. The only concern I'd have is when moving to be careful not to tip the unit front to back. Being bolted to the base would give that situation a bit more stability. Else, it should be as solid as sitting on the floor provided you have the m-base leveled. ( I don't bolt my machines to the floor. ) You could certainly bolt a sheet of ply to the mobile base, and then bolt the jointer base to the ply. I sent Delta a question on this subject, just to see what they have to say, when I get a response I'll post it. My guess now is that the holes in the J-base are not indended to line up with the holes in the M-base, but, for a dedicated m-base like this, it does beg the question...

I've been reading on here for some time and while I don't own the Ryobi TS I have found some good reading posts here . I pulled the trigger on this deal and I filled out the rebate form submitted it and then I burned the boxes along with some other cardboard. I just submitted another rebate yesterday for something and I looked at the Delta one and found that I overlooked the part of attaching a UPC to the form. I can not belive that I missed that on the form but I didn't recall seeing one on the box. I just hope that they send me a form back saying that I forgot to incude it and to enclose a copy for them. Might anyone have a digital copy of their UPC or a copy of the one that was submitted that they could send me? If so please post it here, PM me or e-mail me at (ahandyguy@gmail.com)

                    I'm kicking myself for this.

Thanks for posting such a great deal.

                      Brian,

Call delta (901)-346-9941 (thats the # on the rebate form) and explain that you accidently burned the boxes and do not have the UPC. You have other means of proof of purchase - hopefully they will be understanding. Lots of folks buying Delta X5 products, rest assured you are not the only one who has lost the UPC. Let us know what they say.
