They are very easy to come by, and free. I have one only because I play backgammon endlessly on the Zone (Microsoft). Nasty habit. But it worked on this freebie.Originally posted by jzieglera passport account seems to be required to get this,

I am aware of this, I refuse on principal to do so. I don't trust the whole passport system to not log my system for all sorts of purposes that I do not wish. Of course, LOML uses hotmail, so I suppose I have a way around it...Originally posted by jp_spinsYou can just sign up for a Hotmail account, that login will work for you

I just signed up and ran into something I've never seen before. The page that wants your shipping info wouldn't accept my work address city (St. Paul, MN). Seems there Zip Code data base has my zip associated with an ajacent suburb and wouldn't take St. Paul. Somebody at MS should figure out that city boundaries and Zip Code boundaries aren't always the same and one Zip can cover several cities.

That's typical for MS...
My company offers MS software to employees for the cost of media as part of their MS Select license program and several people ordering from MS ran into this issue with zip codes exactly as you described. I have only seen this with MS.

Mine is on the way!
Just put my order in. (Freebie)
It's packed with some kind of information for/about MicroSoft. I hope this isn't some kind of silly trap.
I don't trust "Slick Willie"!
If he can "bamboozle" a company the size of IBM, then he can really get to you with all the help he has now.Stop thinking why you can't and Start thinking how you CAN!
