    glue and fingerprint sensors

I find when I spread wood glue using my index finger that for some time after, I can't use my fingerprint sensor on my phone successfully.

Gotta wash it and rub it really well to clear out the valleys between the ridges.

For me, it isn't wood glue (white/yellow) that causes me troubles, but CA and poly glues!

That said, I sure am glad that some of my apps on both my laptop and phone use facial recognition, but there are some important apps on my laptop that uses fingerprints. I sure like facial recognition as I haven't had that circumvented nearly as much as fingerprints.

Some of our painter contractors used a cream type coating to prevent oil and epoxy paints and caulkings from sticking to their hands. It washed off with some light scrubbing and didn’t allow paints to fill up fingerprints. Check with a pro painters store… not a big box store.

Thanks Capncarl. I go by a couple of paint stores often. I will ask for it.
