    Ever have a Dumbass Moment?

    Welp, I was a bit bored with trying to plan out a plate rack for my wife so I wandered into the shop to make something.
    Turns out I had a blank glued up for a bandsaw box from months ago that I had forgotten about. After going through the steps it started to take shape.
    when I had everything sanded I went to slide the drawer in. That’s when the fun began…… Click image for larger version

      Add 4 little ball feet to the round bottom and tell everyone it was intentionally designed that way!

        yeah, I thought of that too.
        Or you make the mirror image and glue them together.
        Or an inverted T pedestal.

        for some reason I've become good at these kind of face-saving moves.

          One secret is, never tell anyone what you are going to make. If it started out a dining table but ended up a toothpick, then its still OK. You haven't let anyone down.

                Idea, maybe a bad one, but what about drilling for some dowels and making legs on it so it is sort of, well, mid century modern?
