    Hooks Grrrrrrr...

Maybe it's my age, but anything with a hook on it will surely snag something I don't want it to further complicating whatever it was I was attempting to do. It can be a tape measure, a bungee cord, anything. Then to add insult to injury, the aforementioned hook will not stay hooked where I want it to. Just spent the last hour wrestling with a 25' tape measure laying out a cutlist for the third living room table. On my way to the local wood dealer tomorrow.

I never can get a tape measure hook to stay put, if it is beyond my arm span I volunteer my beautiful assistant to hold the hook...

I went fishing today. Hooked everything but fish.

      Hooked
      • the net
      • the anchor rope
      • the rocks and other underwater surprises
      • the bait
      • my finger
      • My shirt/clothes
      • the other guy's' lines and rods
      • the cleat and other parts of the boat
      • itself- with the super thin braided line, you can get some monster tangles.
and these F**kers are sharp, with barbs!!!

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.
