As discussed in Radhak's current post, "Combining different types of wood for table top" this is a perfect example of what can happen to tables constructed of very large boards. There is no amount of planing and using winding boards that would save this table. I'd guess that all the other tables in the restaurant were built like this and as they warped they cut them into smaller planks and the waiter made ugly chairs out of them. From the amount of chairs this must be the last table!Comment
