    Discussions of professions...

I have been following a thread on another forum regarding business statuses of certain companies I have either financial or personal interest in. The discussion turned toward outsourcing, and in the vein of that turn, several folks chimed in with their I do this or that... One person claimed a specific profession, that I honestly don't think I am alone in, that is somewhat regarded as, unethical, sleazy, and, well beneath contempt. I won't go into what that field was, but...

I had to bite my tongue as it were to keep from replying...

"Dude, I wouldn't admit to doing THAT for a lving, wouldn't it be more socially acceptable to say you are something less nasty, like a drug dealing terrorist prostitute or something?"

Now I hate to judge others for any reason, but I must admit, the phrase that sprung up in my mind, well, it makes me giggle... I mean drug dealing terrorist prostitute... Really? Where the heck did that come from!

I'm thinking I must have caught wind of something nasty on late night TV before falling asleep...

He is an Attorney. That covers everything. Besides most politicians are Attorneys. It's late and a few glasses of a great red wine now waiting for the Pineapple Express to hit and maybe give us some much need rain. The are predicting 3 inches if not then the forecasters will be added to the above group.

I am not saying what the profession was, but you could make a case for your conclusion!
