    Woodworking Links?

Those who visit facebook more than likely have noticed the stream of advertising down the right side of their screen( although not on my tablet). Imagine my great joy when I started seeing woodworking links being featured. Problem is though, I'm just not sure about the style of woodworking when the link comes up like this........

It was a typo: It was supposed to be Woolworkers Only. She's going to pull the wool over your eyes.

I'm guessing --- The agent for Leigh mis-pronounced their name when he was calling scouts/managers, looking for a new spokesperson.

I suppose there's a couple other woodworking company names that might confuse the lay crowd -----

When I see crap like that - I pretty much ignore it.

Does that picture show what I think it does? Just what kind of sites have you been browsing?

Curious what browser you guys are using - Google is one of the primary offenders at harvesting users private info and selling placements to advertisers. They aggregate info from all browsing to select ads - so something you are browsing suggests to them an interest in those topics.

FWIW, I use IE and Bing and don't get those kinds of ads. IE is a bit more privacy conscious, while Firefox is in the middle and Chrome is the worst - and you cannot disable it. Another good reason to avoid Chrome, IMHO.

edit: I did find a page where they let you change a few settings https://support.google.com/ads/?hl=en#topic=2971788 "You can opt out of interest-based ads by Google through Ads Settings. When you opt out, you’ll still see ads but they may not be related to factors such as your interests or demographic details."

There was once the movie director who told his casting person he needed a woman about 50ish...

the casting person later brought around this young but super well endowed woman and the director said "that's not what I mea.... never mind, we'll use her."

yeah, must be something like that happened.

What ugly images just danced through my mind! Is there any way that I can erase them?
