Humor is subjective, and I have no context for this.

Who's bring? Not bringing? Is this part of the joke?
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

            Me too, Pappy!

"Chips" have different meanings in different places though. The different versions of chips would interesting!

            Texas chips = 8" across
            Vegas chips = 1 1/4"
            other chips = 1 1/2 - 2"

            Play with them, eat'em, burn'em, toss'em or shoot'em! A red neck's paradise!

The "Texas 8" chips" are cow chips, sometimes called patties or other things! Used for tossing in contests (when dried). Used for burning at campfires when no wood is available.

Chips in California mean the CHP thanks to Pounch and John on the TV program. You bring the Chips to that kinda party in CA, there will be a whole bunch of trouble.

When I was a young fellow and into my teen years, I would chop long rows of cotton with one of those tools! I learned how to properly use a file and properly sharpen tools - by sharpening those daily!
